For well over a decade, the PocketFMS Foundation have been developing solutions for pilots to assist in enhancing situational awareness, so to increase flight safety and convenience. EasyVFR helps pilots to quickly and conveniently plan their flights on Windows 7 & 8 and OS X machines, but also on iOS (iPad, iPhone), Windows Phone 8 and Android devices. A comprehensive TripKit PDF is produced holding all relevant flight details such as route, weather, NOTAMs, airspaces and W & B / Perfomance data. All devices on the same account are interconnected via the PocketFMS Cloud, keeping all copies in sync. Taken aboard the aircraft, the Moving Maps guide the pilot effortlessly towards his destination, alerting timely for controlled airspaces, obstacles, NOTAMed areas and other traffic. The PocketFMS Foundation also develops, maintains and supplies aeronautical information. This information, comprising detailed airspace structures, airports, runways, frequencies, waypoints, NavAids and obstacles, is used in the EasyVFR software, as well as by a number of acclaimed avionics manufacturers for use in their glass cockpit systems.
