The READ Clinic is the largest Psychology Practice on the Central Coast. The READ Clinic has been operating since 1982 and offers a unique specialist service. With over 20 psychologists we offer mental health help to all ages and stages. We pride ourselves on adhering to a principal of evidence based best practice and continually maintain a high standard of client care. By maintaining a practice that is open 6 days a week and Thursday evening, we try to offer enough suitable times to ensure a minimal waiting time for both initial and follow up consultations.

The Reader is an award-winning, charitable social enterprise that brings people together through great stories and our innovative Shared Reading model. We work across diverse areas of life, bringing Shared Reading to looked after children, prisoners in custody, pupils, parents, teachers, people living with dementia or mental health issues as well as those recovering from addiction. We also run open community groups in libraries across the UK, bringing Shared Reading to those who need it most. Our vision is for Shared Reading to take root in every community in the UK so that it is freely available wherever and whoever you are. In addition to our Reader-led groups, we've trained over 500 people to bring Shared Reading into their own home, workplace and community in the UK and internationally.

The Reading League (TRL) is a national education nonprofit led by educators and reading experts dedicated to promoting knowledge to re-imagine the culture of literacy education and accelerate the global movement toward reading instruction rooted in science. The purpose of The Reading League is to increase knowledge of science-based approaches to teach reading as well as research that demystifies how people learn to benefit the lives of millions of students. We train and support educators and school leaders. By extension, we also serve parents, specialists, and researchers. We believe all children deserve to learn to read and all teachers can learn to teach them.
