Our Mission Established in 1982, Streetlife is an organisation which assists vulnerable young people in Blackpool, a lot of whom access our service as homeless. Our aim is to enable and empower them to make informed choices, about issues affecting their lives. We provide support for those up to the age of 26 from The Base, our Day Centre, and Night Shelter, which serves as emergency accommodation for those who need it most. Our Staff Our staff team is made up of a variety of roles including specialist workers who can support young people with a range of issues. We also have a budding team of approximately 30 volunteers including several who are gap year volunteers from overseas. Emergency Shelter If you are in need of emergency accommodation our shelter opens at 7pm each night. See the Get in Touch section for more details. Drop-In Sessions Every Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri at The Base. Why not come to our friendly afternoon drop-in sessions? Workers available for advice and support, hot food available, internet access, food parcels and lots more. Lifeskills Sessions Every Monday and Wednesday we host lifeskill sessions named Edutainment. Subjects include substance use, employment, and equality and diversity.

The Strongest Oak Foundation (TSO) is an international non-profit organization that equips remote African villages with solar power to increase their economic prosperity and educational opportunities. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, TSO has helped youth (our “Oaks”) achieve life-changing personal, educational or professional goals, with the ultimate goal of them becoming financially self-sustaining.
