The Trusts is a business owned and operated by West Auckland. We exist to sell alcohol responsibly, and to do so in a way approved of by the community who owns us. Instead of profits being paid to private owners or shareholders, we return surplus profits back into the community or reinvest into the business. We are accountable to the public, and are governed by trustees – local people elected by the community to ensure that alcohol is sold responsibly, and in a way that maximises the social enjoyment and benefits to the community while minimising the harm that comes with irresponsible sale and consumption. We have adopted a Statement of Social Responsibility to lead our commitment to good practice in the sale of liquor and in gaming operations at our venues. We’re proud to lead the industry in both these areas.

The Trusts Arena is a multi-purpose event and entertainment facility which hosts a broad range of events including conventions, trade shows, music concerts and local, national and international sporting events. The Arena was developed by the Waitakere City Stadium Trust in partnership with Waitakere City Council and The Trusts and aims to be an icon for Waitakere City, a place for the community to gather and enjoy a wide range of cultural, community, sporting and corporate events. The Waitakere City Stadium Trust (the Arena's owner/operator) maintains a strong focus on being an icon for Waitakere City and a "hub"​ for our community. The economic and social returns provide ongoing benefits for our community. Commercial activity and key funding partnerships with The Trusts and Waitakere City Council keep the stadium doors open to our community at heavily subsidised rates. Each year over 600,000 people from across the country descend on the Arena for a variety of events, over half of these people are local people here to play sport and attend community arts and recreation events. We pride ourselves on the fact that over 51% of all visits to the stadium are locals and less than 6% of income is derived from this. We believe we have the most versatile, and available community facility in the country, staffed by the best people who all live and love West Auckland. The TTE Technical Training Group is an internationally renowned provider of technical training and consultancy services. It provides technical vocational training for young people aged 16-25 in the form of Vocational Study Programmes and employer-sponsored Advanced Apprenticeships. TTE delivers skills development programmes in the engineering, oil & gas, process, chemical and manufacturing sectors as well as designing, operating and managing training programmes and technical training facilities overseas.
