A public, four-year residential college located in the lush mountains of Southwestern Virginia, The University of Virginia's College at Wise is recognized as one of the top public liberal arts colleges in the nation. UVA Wise was founded in 1954 and currently enrolls 2,000 students. UVA Wise is home to Virginia’s only undergraduate degree program in software engineering. UVA Wise offers 30 majors, 32 minors, seven pre-professional programs and 24 teaching licensures. The University of Westminster Students’ Union is an independent student-led organisation. We are here to represent the students of Westminster, protect their rights and ensure that their voice is heard. We also support societies, sports teams and student media groups, offer advice services and host some of the biggest events. The primary object of the SU is the educational development of all students at the University of Westminster by: • Promoting students’ interests and welfare during their course and representing, supporting and advising them; • Being the recognised representative channel between students and the University of Westminster and any other external bodies • Providing social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities and forums for discussion and debate for the personal development of its students.
