Founded in 2010 by two teenage siblings from Alliance, Ohio, The Valentine Project, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that spreads love, hope, and joy to families whose lives have been affected by childhood cancer or any chronic childhood illness by sending custom-made Valentine's care packages. Our outreach extends to current patients and survivors as well as to their siblings. Volunteers from anywhere in the world (who we call "Valentines"​) can choose a child's name and make a personalized Valentine's Day care package for that child. The packages are delivered to the child's home in time for Valentine's Day each year. Last year, more than 850 children in the organization's two locations – Ohio and the San Francisco Bay Area – received a care package from The Valentine Project, filled with toys, clothing, candy and love...
