Professionele en persoonlijke ontwikkeling Op Thomas More Hogeschool weten we dat goed onderwijs en persoonlijke aandacht nodig zijn voor succesvolle ontwikkeling. Je ontwikkelt je als mens en als professional en krijgt de ruimte en ondersteuning om je talenten maximaal te ontplooien. We kiezen steeds voor verbetering en innovatie en investeren veel in onderzoek naar en toepassing van de nieuwste inzichten op het gebied van leren en ontwikkeling. Internationalisering Voor de nieuwste inzichten op het gebied van leren en ontwikkeling kijken we ook nieuwsgierig over de landsgrenzen met buitenlandse stages en projecten. Extra bevoegdheden; meer mogelijkheden na je studie Naast je pabo-diploma behaal je op Thomas More Hogeschool binnen het programma de akte van bekwaamheid Godsdienst/Levensbeschouwing voor leraar katholiek primair onderwijs. In het vierde studiejaar kun je aanvullende diploma’s behalen zoals het Jenaplandiploma, Daltoncertificaat of certificaat Cultuurcoördinator. Ook is er de mogelijkheid om tijdens je studie je post-hbo-diploma Bewegingsonderwijs te behalen. Carrière en baanperspectief De arbeidsmarkt is gunstig voor leraren basisonderwijs in Rotterdam. Thomas More Hogeschool werkt intensief samen met zeven katholieke schoolbesturen in Rotterdam en omgeving: RVKO, WSKO, SIKO, SKOP, Floreo, Laurentius en Groeiling.
