Three Rivers Adoption Council has served as Pennsylvanias foremost resource for adoption information, referral services, support, and education. As we grow, we will continue to spread our mission of improving adoption opportunities for children awaiting permanency throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Since 1979 TRAC has worked so that no child will have to face a life without permanency. TRAC was founded by adoptive parents and professionals and established as a volunteer staffed project of the Junior League of Pittsburgh. Today, TRAC is a United Way Agency that serves as the central resources for permanency information, family recruitment, placement of special needs children, post-permanency support, education, and referral services. Adhering to the permanency standards of the Child Welfare League of America, TRAC is a multi-service agency serving children who cannot remain with their birth families and the resource families who provide these children permanence. Primarily, the children served fall into several categories. More than half are African America; many are older and/or part of a sibling group who need to stay together; and others have emotional, physical, or mental disabilities. Most of these children have experienced multiple moves in the foster care system and high percentages have been victims of abuse and neglect. TRAC works with public and private agencies to implement cooperative, cost effective programs to meet the placement and post-placement needs of these children. TRAC provides recruitment, information and referral services, counseling, family preparation, post adoption services, and parent and professional education services, to achieve and maintain maximum permanency opportunities for children and their families.

Three Rivers has provided quality, accessible and affordable learning opportunities and services for academic scholarship and professional success to Southeast Missouri since 1967. As the Community College of Southeast Missouri, we provide college transfer and career-technical programs to residents throughout a 15-county service area. Three Rivers offers Associate Degrees in Arts, Arts in Teaching, Science, and Applied Science, with articulation agreements guaranteeing smooth transfer to Southeast Missouri State, MSU, and Mizzou. We also provide a broad range of career and technical programs, including a wide variety of Allied Health and Nursing programs, a Green Diesel Technician program, and job training agreements with manufacturers across our service area. We host the the largest law enforcement training academy in the state, and provide the majority of firefighter training services used by fire departments statewide. Three Rivers has been named one of the fastest growing community colleges in America by "Community College Week"​ magazine, and one of the Top Ten Safest Colleges in Missouri by StateUniversity.com for two years in a row. TRYPO creates a dynamic, inclusive community where young people are inspired to pursue a lifelong passion for music. Established in 1974, TRYPO has served over 2,200 young musicians from the greater Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Current program offerings include: - Young Peoples Orchestra (YPO): Advanced full symphonic orchestra, led by Music Director Brian Worsdale. - Wind Symphony (WS): Intermediate to advanced wind ensemble, led by Music Director Brian Worsdale - Symphonette (SYM): Intermediate string orchestra, led by conductor Andrew Wickesberg - Youth Chamber Connection (YC2): Small ensembles such as quartets and quintets for students of all ages - beginner to advanced - coached by members of the Pittsburgh Symphony and other fantastic teachers in the Pittsburgh community - Percussion Ensemble (PE): Advanced percussion ensemble, coached by Paul Evans - YC2 at Chautauqua Music Camps: Summer program for intermediate to advanced students in collaboration with the Chautauqua Music Camps at the Chautauqua Institute.
