Thrive equips staff in schools, trusts, early years settings and colleges to help children and young people understand and manage their emotions, so they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. For 30 years Thrive’s unique approach to wellbeing has been proven to make a positive impact on children and young people’s learning and lives. Thrive offers training, online assessments, and expert strategies for working with pupils to improve attendance, behaviour and attainment (as well as supporting staff wellbeing). To date, over 75,000 staff in over 2,800 schools and settings have received Thrive training, ensuring that more than 795,500 children and young people aged 0-25 have access to the Thrive Approach.

Our Expertise Thrive Architects have extensive experience in urban design and masterplanning, particularly on challenging and sensitive sites. An expanding portfolio of work ranges from masterplanning urban extensions for mixed use communities, to residential estate development, extra care housing, care homes and retirement villages. Our Clients We have developed a solid reputation with a substantial number of repeat clients, largely national house builders and regional developers, also we work regularly with; care operators, housing associations, local authorities and land owners. Where We Work Our clients and projects are situated predominantly in Southern England, but also thoroughout the UK . Our main studio is based in Romsey, Hampshire, we also have a regional studio in Portishead, Bristol, serving the South West. Our Approach Our approach is distinctive in that we are experienced at delivering masterplanning projects from inception through to detailed planning and construction stages. It is our in-depth knowledge of each stage of the design and construction process that ensures our designs are implementable, commercially attractive and of a high quality. Our approach is strengthened by our sustainability expertise and in-house team of Code for Sustainable Homes, SAP and BREEAM assessors who help to ensure integration of sustainable principles early in the design process to create low carbon communities. Company Re-branding On the 30th June 2014 we changed our name to Thrive Architects. Our old name, Tetlow King, had served us well, but looking to the future we felt it was time to move on. The change reflects the way we work, our management structure and the quality and breadth of services we provide.
