Tirreno Power è uno dei principali produttori di energia elettrica in Italia. Nata nel 2003 a seguito della liberalizzazione del mercato elettrico italiano ha un parco impianti di circa 2.400 MW costituito dalle centrali termoelettriche di Torrevaldaliga Sud (Civitavecchia), Vado Ligure (Savona), Napoli Levante e da 18 centrali idroelettriche distribuite nell’Appennino Ligure. Ogni anno gli impianti di produzione di Tirreno Power sono in grado di coprire il fabbisogno di energia elettrica di oltre 4 milioni di famiglie. Grazie all’elevata flessibilità produttiva, le centrali termoelettriche di Tirreno Power forniscono sicurezza al sistema elettrico italiano. Tirreno Power detiene l’85% degli impianti idroelettrici presenti in Liguria, con i quali produce fino a 200 GWh all’anno di energia completamente verde.
