The Tour de USA® is a program of the Cancer Journeys Foundation, a 501 c3 non-profit charity based in Manhattan Beach, California. The The Tour de USA® will be an annual trans-America relay event. The 2018 Tour focus is on prostate cancer awareness and prevention. The 2019 Tour will target breast cancer awareness. There are more than 15 million cancer survivors in the United States and another American receives a cancer diagnosis every 19 seconds. There are many fundraising programs for research but precious few resources to support cancer survivors after they finish treatment and begin their cancer survivorship journeys. The Tour de USA® organizes automobile/motorcycle relay rallies to raise awareness of the critical importance of a healthy lifestyle, active fitness, and early detection in preventing and surviving cancer and to generate donations to support Cancer Journeys Foundation cancer survivor support programs. The Tour begins on August 1, 2018, and travels through 22 states, representing 57.3% of the total US population, over a period of 41 days. Almost 29,000 men die each year from prostate cancer because the don't know they have the disease. The 2018 Tour de USA® can dramatically reduce that number.
