Mit 7.000 Mitgliedern in insgesamt 35 Abteilungen und Fachbereichen repräsentiert der TSC Eintracht Dortmund den größten Sportverein an aktiven Mitgliedern in Westfalen. Mit über 170-Jahren bewegter Vereinsgeschichte ist er zudem Dortmunds ältester Sportverein. Das Vereinsprogramm umfasst über 100 Sport- und Bewegungsangebote und reicht vom Freizeit- über Breitensport bis hin zum Leistungssport. Ob einzeln oder in der Gemeinschaft, Jung oder Alt, der TSC bietet seinen Mitgliedern einen lebendigen Ort für sportliche Leistung, Spaß und Wohlbefinden. Der Verein unterhält vereinseigene Sportstätten mit moderner Ausstattung. Das TSC Sportzentrum an der Victor-Toyka-Straße verfügt über zwei Dreifachhallen, fünf Gymnastikhallen, eine Kunstrasenanlage (drei Einzelplätze) und einen Streetball-Platz. Seit August 2017 umfasst das Gelände außerdem eine moderne Multi-Außensportanlage mit 1 Kunstrasen-Großfeld für Hockey & Lacrosse, 1 Kunstrasen-Kleinfeld für Hockey, 2 Beachvolleyballplätze, 1 Outdoor-Fitnesspark, Leichtathletiklaufbahn, Doppelweitsprunganlage, Kugelstoßanlage und Finnenlaufbahn. Die ganztägige Nutzung garantiert eine neue LED-Flutlichtanlage. Der TSC finanziert sich hauptsächlich aus Mitgliedsbeiträgen; zusätzliche Einnahmen fließen aus Mieteinnahmen, Zuschüssen, Spenden und Sponsoring. Ziel des TSC Eintracht Dortmund ist es, ein besonders umfangreiches und qualitativ hochwertiges Sportangebot für alle Generationen im Großraum Dortmund anzubieten. Im TSC Eintracht sind heute über 300 Übungsleiter, über 150 gewählte Ehrenamtliche und viele weitere freiwillige Helfer aktiv. Mit etwa 40 hauptamtlichen Mitarbeitern gehört der Verein außerdem zu den größten regionalen Arbeitgebern im Sportsektor. Sie alle bilden das Fundament für eine erfolgreiche Vereinsarbeit. Seit 2003 führt Dr. Alexander Kiel die Geschäfte des Vereins (seit 2012 als hauptamtlicher Vorstandsvorsitzender).
