TEA Sistemi is a spin-off company of the University of Pisa established in 1989 as a Research Centre and in 1997 as an independent company. Deswegen rekrutiert Teach For Austria persönlich und fachlich herausragende HochschulabsolventInnen, die nach einer intensiven pädagogischen Vorbereitung für mindestens zwei Jahre als vollwertige LehrerInnen (Fellows) an Neuen Mittelschulen in Wien unterrichten. Fellows erhalten während dieser zwei Jahre eine intensive Pädagogik- und Leadership-Ausbildung, die auf die Weiterentwicklung der Schülerinnen und Schüler und der Fellows selbst ausgerichtet ist . Fellows glauben an das Potenzial jedes einzelnen Kindes, sind diesen Kindern Vorbilder und inspirieren sie, Herausforderungen anzunehmen und Verantwortung zu übernehmen. Ziel ist es, den unterrichteten Kindern und Jugendlichen den Weg zu einer hochwertigen Lehre und/oder an weiterführende Schulen zu ermöglichen.
