The Teach Well Alliance is dedicated to equipping schools to implement a culture of staff wellbeing, improving mental health, reducing absence and increasing retention. We can also provide customised mental well-being courses and programmes tailored to your school's context. The Teach Well Alliance was founded and is run by Steve Waters. Steve has over 40 years'​ experience in education, including as a teacher and senior leader in secondary schools for 30 years and 6 years as a member of a local authority school improvement team. As well as having lived experience of Burnout, Steve is also a BAC qualified Counsellor and Mental Health First Aider.

Teach Western Mass is an organization which runs a state-approved teacher preparation program, the Residency, which provides classroom training, coaching, and cultural learning opportunities to BIPOC and anti-racist educators in our partner schools across Western Massachusetts. Through community-centered programming and support that decreases turnover, educators will learn how to be highly successful, effective teachers while they develop standards-based and culturally relevant lessons for students.
