Since being built in 1974 as the first public maritime terminal for storage and handling bulk liquids on the South American Pacific Coast, we have been operating in San Antonio, one of Chile's most important ports, located 100 km from Santiago and we started to operate our terminal in Mejillones, Antofagasta Region (2011). San Antonio Terminal Description: 26 carbon steel tanks ranging in size from 150 to 5.400 m3 Total capacity: 34.200 m3, providing storage for sulphuric acid, chemicals, lubes, vegoils, etc. The terminal specializes on the reception, storage, handling and dispatch of liquids bulks. It has 26 carbon steel tanks with a total storage capacity of 34.200 m3, including both the multipurpose and the Sulphuric Acid terminal, as well as the MDI tank. Each tank has an individual pump connected to the truck-loading station through its respective jetty line. The terminal is interconnected to the berth with piggable stainless steel jetty lines with a length of 800 meters, allowing for discharge or loading of 3 different products simultaneously. Mejillones Terminal The terminal is located in Mejillones port, 60 km North of Antofagasta, a privileged location with truck roads and railway access connecting it to the country’s mining industry and to the international routs to Argentina and Bolivia. Description: 7 Multipurpose Carbon Steel tanks ranging from 2.000 m3 to 3.000 m3 (650 API design). Products: mining solvents, caustic soda, asphalt, fuel, among others. Master Plan: 175.522 m3. Tanks from 414 m3 to 19.275 m3 The pier is rigid with a length of 857 m and two berthing sites that allow for the simultaneous reception of two post Panamax 65.000 dwt (Maximum 42 feet draft and 240 m LOA).
