Kálmán Mészáros started his concrete based tile manufacturing business in Negyed, which is now a Slovakian town. The hand crafted, so-called Meszaros-tiles can be found on the surrounding roofs for nearly 90 years. In 1993 Vilmos Mészáros took over the family business and started using a half-automatic machine. Today the manufacturing technology is fully automatic, compliant with the European standards. In 1997, the third generation of the family entered into the familys business and the rapid technological development started at the same time. In 2000 Terran Slovakia Ltd. was established in Farkas din Slovakia, where we installed an automatic production line system. This development further guarantees the secure and continuous product supply and high quality services. In 2008 we installed another high tech plant in Kunszentmiklós (Hungary), which was followed by the reconstruction of the plant of Bóly in 2012.
