Whether your medical emergency is a laceration, broken bone, head injury, stroke or heart attack, every patient is seen by our expert team of emergency medical care providers. In fact, all our physicians are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Additionally, we have a full-service, in-house laboratory, cardiac monitoring and radiology suite including X-Ray equipment, ultrasound imaging and CT scanning. Emergency Care is more than our expertise, it’s our passion. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care and personalized attention to each patient we treat. Not only will we work in collaboration with your team of primary care physicians to ensure they are informed about your emergency care but we also personally follow up with patients in the days following treatment. Should further monitoring or hospital admittance be required, we work with multiple hospitals in the Houston metropolitan area to transfer and admit patients for smooth and quick transition to hospital care. These sugars form glycans on the surface of cells. Glycans are the keys that unlock DNA code. Texas Endowment for Medical Research Our Mission: Texas Endowment for Medical Research is an educational, research, and support organization with the purpose of expanding Glycoscience; how the human body benefits from implementing this integrative medical care for the prevention and treatment of disease. We will collaborate with educators, scientists, doctors, and researchers internationally. We will bring the benefit of natural Glycoscience into mainstream sciences. Our Vision: Texas Endowment for Medical Research will be at the forefront in developing education and research programs in the area of Glycoscience; collaborating and providing the most up-to-date information on the exploration of glycans in the development of how this untapped area of science may impact the quality of life for everyone. We will take the findings of the schools, universities, and researchers to develop ways to use the research in the potential prevention and treatment of all diseases; especially those in the area of neurodegenerative diseases. Our Focus: Texas Endowment for Medical Research will be focused on establishing educational opportunities beginning in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. By introducing GlycoScience at the high school, community college, university and pre-med level we will provide these students a chance to get a high paying job in an emerging technology! History of Texas Endowment for Medical Research A rich history of Glycoscience discoveries and experience pave the road to the founding of Texas Endowment for Medical Research in 2016. Since 1996, our founder, JC Spencer, has surrounded himself with Glycoscience Pioneers from around the world. This began his study of the works of more than 700 M.D.s, PhDs, Scientists, Researchers, and Educators in the field of Glycoscience and brain function.
