Karadeniz Bakır İşletmelerinin Çakmakkaya fabrikasının kuruluşunda 5,05mt çapında 42.000 kg.lık fabrika değirmen makinelerinin sevkiyatı ile ağır nakliye, M.Kimya Endüstrisi kurumunun yanıcı ve patlayıcı maddelerinin Eskortlar öncülüğünde taşınması ile sektörde ilk olmuştur. 1995 yılında gelişen teknolojiye uyum sağlayan Tezel kendine özel bir lojistik software oluşturarak depolar arası on-line sistemi kurmuştur. Otomosyon sistemi sayesinde tüm operasyonların internet üzerinden izlenebilmesi, raporlanması ve veri akışını sağlaya bilmektir. 1997 yılında İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana, Bursa, Antalya depolarında depolama hizmeti vermeye başlamış olup Tezel depolarından nihai tüketiciye bayilere ve mağazalara, bayilerden, nihai tüketici veya diğer bayilere ürün transferi ve ürünlerin tedarikçi deposundan teslim alınıp depolara yönlendirilmesi gibi B2B, B2C sistemine uygun lojistik operasyonlar sağlayabilmektedir. 1999 yılında kargo sektöründe faaliyete başlayıp Tezel kargo departmanı ile müşterilerine hizmet vermiştir. 2001 yılında Tezel Lojistik Taşımacılık Tic.Ltd.Şti. uluslararası taşımacılığa başlayarak kısa sürede yurt dışında başarı sağlanmıştır.
