Our world today is seeing revolutionary change - and we need to find active solutions Our History and Mission The Action Tank initiative was born out of the Global Diplomacy Lab network and the BMW Responsible Leaders Network. We saw an opportunity to keep the conversation going, and create action for positive social change. Beyond just thinking about the problems facing our communities: we act. We engage our skills, resources and networks, hence our name, The Action Tank. The 'Action Tank'​ consists of an international leadership members-only group of cross sectoral experts working for social good. Our work is support by the BMW Foundation and the Global Diplomacy Lab - an initiative supported by the German Federal Government. What we do The Action Tank brings disruptive leaders together working into the social good space. We curate events with an outcome based agenda, produce original research and publications that advocate for positive social change and provide implementable solutions that our membership can help with. 1. Members are invited to meet in Berlin annually. Events are specially curated to ensure action based outcomes (bursaries for expenses available) 2. We host a by-invitation-only online platform for our membership that allows for live-discussion, project management, and offers members opportunities practical ways of amplifying their social good work. We keep the conversation going both before and after events. 3. Build the capacity of membership driven initiatives through personal wellbeing and growth opportunities, trainings and connections, support with investment/funding rounds. How to become a member Members of the GLD and BMW responsible leaders group can join the network. Other members must be invited by current members. A minimal administrative fee will be requested to support the costs of running The Action Tank.
