The Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences is one of the institutions of the Council of Arab Economic Unity that belongs to the League of Arab States as a non-profit joint Arab organization.. The Academy is a member of the Association of Arab Universities, the International Association of Universities, the European Banking & Financial Services Training Association, Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, and the Arab Federation for Technical Education. The Academy conducts its scientific and educational activities in the following areas: Education, training, professional certifications, scientific research and publishing, forums, conferences, workshops, Islamic banking, SMEs, and consultancy services.

The Arc New London County is a non-profit organization founded in 1952 by families looking for opportunities for their children. The Arc today serves over 550 individuals of all ages, offering advocacy, employment opportunities, life skills training, recreation, residences and person-centered, community based services. In partnership with national, state, and local chapters, we are a powerful advocacy force for full inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities here in Southeastern Connecticut. The Arc Eastern Connecticut was founded in 1952 by families in northeastern and southeastern Connecticut who sought opportunities for their children who at the time were not welcome in the public school system. Today The Arc serves over 800 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We offer day and residential supports, employment opportunities, in-home/family supports, life skills training, recreation, and person-centered, community based services. In partnership with national, state, and local chapters, we are a powerful advocacy force for full inclusion of people with IDD throughout Eastern Connecticut.

People with developmental disabilities accomplish great things every day. They are our friends, neighbors and coworkers; and they enrich our community in countless ways. Since 1954, The Arc Gateway has been proud to provide life-enhancing programs that help the people we serve realize their dreams. We see the ability, not the disability. With the help of our members, supporters and volunteers, we are able to sustain our existing services and develop innovative new ways to help children and adults with developmental disabilities reach their full potential.
