The Bigger Data is a nonprofit organization (NPO) built to help other NPOs better understand their own data. Specialized in business intelligence/data science, this Montreal-based organization aims to combine young talent, professionals and volunteers to further help international NPOs on their mission. In other words, our very own mission is to build on big data analytics to help NPOs see the bigger picture... One data crunch at a time.

Inspiring a new generation of cyclists We absolutely love cycling, we feel such great freedom when we're on our bikes but we've realised it's not always easy or affordable to get a new bike each time your child grows out of their current one. This switches them off cycling and leads to an incredible amount of waste. By making cycling more accessible we hope to be able to encourage more children to get into, and subsequently enjoy, cycling. This should allow parents to plan ahead with their spending, allow children access to better bikes, at less of an expense, as well as minimising the number of bikes going into landfill. The Bilingual Primary School is a growing school with over 490 children on roll from Reception to Y6. We are housed in a brand new, purpose build school right on the edge of Hove Park with easy access to everything Brighton & Hove has to offer. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, cared for and listened to. Our aim is for children to be motivated and excited about learning. We want to inspire them to have high aspirations for their future, to be successful learners and confident individuals. We want them to take responsibility for their own behaviour and to work with us to challenge themselves to achieve the highest standards. Hearing, speaking and learning Spanish and equipping our children to become global citizens are central to our school. The governors and staff are totally committed to the ongoing development of our bilingual vision and Spanish and English are used interchangeably throughout the school. All our teaching assistants are native or fluent Spanish speakers, as are about a quarter of our teaching staff, and organisational and social language happens in Spanish. Children from Y1 upwards have Spanish lessons twice a week. The school follows the national curriculum and, as a newer school, we are in the enviable position of being able to build a curriculum that meets our needs and our context rather than being constrained by what we have always done. As you walk around the school there is a real ‘buzz’ about learning and lots of talk and activity.

Founded in 1923, Community Services of Northern Kentucky - DBA The Bill & Betsy Scheben Care Center(formerly Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky) has a long and dedicated history of providing programs and services that meet the special needs of children and adults with disabilities. From our original Covington location, we pioneered many “firsts” in Northern Kentucky, including: •The first to provide special education classes for children in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the only classes (the Opportunity School) for children with physical disabilities. •The first facility in Northern Kentucky in the 1950s to offer audiology (hearing) services to children and adults. •The first to provide orthopedic services, physical and occupational therapies and speech-language therapy for children and adults •The first to offer daily medical model adult day care and nursing services to younger adults (18 and over) as well as those over 60. •The first to provide a preschool program for children with special needs. As Northern Kentucky’s demographics shifted, we realized a great need for services in the booming area of Boone County. As a result, we opened our Florence center in 2001, and by 2003, we moved all of the programs formerly operated out of the Covington center to the new facility. Our present facility is designed to best meet the goals of our medical model adult day care, respite program and transportation.
