BISC was established in 1976 to provide a balanced and challenging education based on the British curriculum. A not-for-profit school, we reside in a state-of-the-art campus in Beverly Hills, 30 minutes to the west of central Cairo. The original aim of the School was to provide purpose built facilities to promote and encourage young people who had the potential to ride as professional jockeys. Since then, the School has developed and flourished to its current position as the Centre of Excellence for training in the racing industry, providing a whole range of different courses and training. As a Centre of Excellence for training in the horseracing world, we aim to provide a range of training of the highest standard to meet the needs of the racing industry, and to meet the needs of our learners. We are committed to producing top quality training and are always working to improve what we do. The training we provide is relevant to the practical needs of those who are working in the industry. Company Overview The British School Manila (BSM) is a highly regarded co-educational British international school established in 1976. The School is proud to uphold the high standard of the British education system and we take full advantage of our multi-cultural setting. We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and also a member of The Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and The Independent Association of Prep School (IAPS). At present, 940+ students aged 3-18 are on BSM's roll and 41 nationalities are represented. British children make up 24%, Filipino 25​%, Canadian ​12%, Australian ​10% and American 7% of the total population.
