La Fundació Universitària del Bages és una institució privada amb vocació de servei públic que té com a objectiu principal garantir una oferta d’estudis superiors a les comarques centrals de Catalunya. La signatura d'un acord de federació amb la Fundació Universitària Balmes, el 30 de gener de 2014, va convertir la Fundació Universitària del Bages en la seu del campus Manresa (UManresa) de la Universitat de Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya. En l’actualitat, el campus Manresa està format per la Facultat de Ciències de la Salut, que imparteix els graus en Infermeria, Fisioteràpia, Podologia, Logopèdia i el doble grau en Podologia i Fisioteràpia, la Facultat de Ciències Socials, que ofereix els títols d’ADE i Mestre d’Educació Infantil, i la Facultat de Medicina, que disposa de campus a Vic i a Manresa. També en formen part el Campus Professional, que imparteix Cicles Formatius de Grau Superior de Pròtesis Dentals, Educació Infantil i Administració i Direcció d'Empreses; el Campus Internacional de Formació Contínua, amb una àmplia oferta de màsters i postgraus; i el Servei d’Idiomes. El campus universitari abasta més de 20.000 quadrats. Es distribueix entre l’edifici FUB, seu principal de la institució, l'edifici FUB2 i l’edifici CU+, on es troba la Clínica Universitària i els espais per a la formació teoricopràctica dels estudis de Ciències de la Salut i per a la simulació clínica. El campus es completa amb els serveis generals del Campus Universitari de Manresa, com la Biblioteca BCUM i la residència universitària.
