De Unie van Baptistengemeenten in Nederland is ontstaan in 1881. De Unie telt een kleine 12.000 leden, die aangesloten zijn bij een van de circa tachtig plaatselijke gemeenten. De Unie heeft een eigen theologische opleiding, het Baptisten Seminarium.
