Using detailed 3D mapping, characterization and visualization in tandem with reservoir and simulation engineering, United helps plan and drill optimized wells for production and recovery. This can significantly benefit infill drilling light oil, heavy oil, tight gas or CBM as well as optimizing waterfloods and geosteering horizontal wells. For over a decade United has developed and refined its 3D geological modelling program and engineering modules.
