WHAT WE DO United Way Niagara exists to support the most vulnerable people, when and where they need it, by investing in life-changing programs that strengthen the social safety net and build capacity in Niagara. We face poverty head on, addressing the interconnected issues it causes every day; homelessness, food insecurity, isolation, mental health and addiction. United, we address the challenges of today – meeting basic, urgent needs - while building a stronger community for everyone who lives here, paving the way for a better tomorrow. HOW WE DO IT United Way Niagara not only meets the immediate, urgent and basic needs in the short term, we also bring together the private, public and social sectors to tackle the systemic social issues that are often the root cause of these needs. We understand that in order for whole communities to thrive, the needs of every individual living there must be met. Needs such as access to nutritious food, safe housing, stable income and social connections. We also understand that complex social issues are often caused by systemic problems that are fundamental contributing factors to vulnerability. Poverty, discrimination and inequity are prime examples of these issues.

For nearly 65 years, United Way of Brazoria County (UWBC) has been a beacon of hope and support for our community. We understand the challenges our neighbors face, from the struggles of poverty and financial insecurity to the devastation caused by disasters. Every day, we stand beside those in need, working tirelessly to bring help, hope, and long-lasting change. Our strength lies in our partnerships. By working with local organizations and mobilizing resources, we create sustainable solutions that uplift individuals and families, paving the way for a better quality of life for all. COMMUNITY IMPACT INITIATIVES Through targeted initiatives, we address key issues impacting Brazoria County, such as education, income stability, and access to healthcare. At UWBC, we believe in the power of unity because we can achieve more together. We encourage individuals and businesses to get involved by offering opportunities to give, volunteer, and make a difference year-round. THE COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND UWBC proudly funds 34 programs through 26 trusted community partners, investing over a million dollars directly into local services that uplift our community. These programs provide vital resources to those who need them most, from educational support to health and basic needs. It takes all of us working together to create lasting change. The mission is to be Brevard's leader in mobilizing the caring power of our community. United Way of Brevard County was started in 1957 by a group of concerned individuals wanting to help those in need. They formed the Brevard County United Appeal and conducted their first county-wide fund drive in the early spring of 1958. Over $104,000 was raised, and 12 agencies received funding that first year. The annual campaign has grown over the years highlighted by the recent 2010 campaign, which raised over $6.8 million and supported 67 programs at 42 agencies.

United Way fights for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. Our mission is to united people and resources to build a stronger, healthier Carlisle & Cumberland County. We support 35 programs at 23 local non-profit partners.

United Way of Central Eastern California offers services and resources to help our community thrive through Education, Health, and Economic Resilience.

United Way of Central Florida contracts with qualified partners to improve the health, education and financial stability of the people of Central Florida. UWCF is discrupting the typical nonprofit model by amplifying donor dollars with local matches, convening partners to improve efficiency and brokerign only those services that produce the best possible return on investment in the areas of most critical need. We are your philanthropic broker. No one can do their bestat work or school if they are hungry, sick or in pain. We much take action.
