United Way of West Alabama seeks to determine the needs of the West Alabama Community and through the support of community volunteers and donors, works to solve those needs for positive changes within the West Alabama Community. United Way's key areas of focus are education, income/financial stability, and health. United Way of West Alabama, along with the help of West Alabamians and its partner agencies, can seek to make long lasting improvements in these areas for the betterment of all.

With a 100-year legacy of driving change, United Way of Wyoming Valley leads initiatives to address childhood poverty and improve the odds of success for at-risk children and families. Partnering with local nonprofit organizations and school districts, the United Way provides access to resources and programs that meet the education and health needs of children and financial stability of families throughout the Wyoming Valley, while maintaining safety net support for the community’s most vulnerable.
