Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia (UAI) didirikan pada bulan Agustus 2000. Hingga saat ini UAI telah memiliki 6 Fakultas dan 16 Program Studi. 6 Fakutas tersebut adalah Fakultas Psikologi dan Pendidikan, Fakultas Hukum, Fakultas Ekonomi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, Fakultas Sastra serta Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi. This college was established since December 29, 1992. The UNIVERSITY OF AMIKOM Yogyakarta based in Yogyakarta under the auspices of the Foundation AMIKOM Yogyakarta. UNIVERSITY OF AMIKOM Yogyakarta grown from a college diploma program “AMIKOM Yogyakarta” became the undergraduate and post graduated. In the first year, number of students who received about 32 persons at the Department of Information Management. A year later AMIKOM get listed status by the Minister of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia No. 084/D/O/1994 dated October 11, 1994. Currently all courses are already accredited. UNIVERSITY OF AMIKOM YOGYAKARTA (STMIK Amikom Yogyakarta) has University or Colleges Pilot World Model Private Entrepreneur by UNESCO (Unesco, A New Dynamic: Private Higher Education, 2009) and also the Top 100 universities in Southeast Asia Webometrics (Webometrics, 2014). The University also has won 35 international awards and more than 100 national awards and produce 21 % of its graduates as entrepreneurs (Business Placement Center, 2016). College has been accredited isntitusi B and has received ISO 2009 certification.

Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) adalah lembaga pendidikan tinggi swasta yang didirikan oleh kaum awam Katolik dan dikelola oleh Yayasan Slamet Rijadi - Yogyakarta, di bawah lindungan Santo Albertus Magnus. Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta lahir pada tanggal 27 September 1965, dengan tujuan untuk ikut serta mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa melalui pendidikan yang berdimensi serta berorientasi global.

Pada tanggal 9 Agustus 2010, UB diresmikan oleh Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Republik Indonesia Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Mohammad Nuh, DEA yang ditandai sekaligus peresmian secara simbolik pembangunan kampus modern terpadu di kawasan sejuk Bogor, Jawa Barat. Universitas Bakrie mengemban tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia unggulan, serta memosisikan diri sebagai Technopreneur University yang mampu menghasilkan wirausahawan berorientasi teknologi dengan semangat kemandirian yang inovatif dan kreatif.
