Créée en 1978, l’Agence d’urbanisme de l’aire métropolitaine lyonnaise (UrbaLyon) est une association Loi 1901, dont les missions sont régies par l’article L 132-6 du Code de l’urbanisme. Une plateforme d’ingénierie territoriale mutualisée : Lieu d’échanges, de mutualisation et de partage entre les différents acteurs impliqués dans le développement et l’aménagement de l’aire métropolitaine de Lyon-Saint-Etienne, UrbaLyon facilite l’émergence et la mise en œuvre de projets communs, la cohérence des politiques publiques, la conception d’un développement territorial équilibré et harmonieux, plus responsable, porteur d’une meilleure qualité de vie et économe des ressources. UrbaLyon fédère 50 membres à vocation d’intérêt général : collectivités territoriales, Etat, syndicats mixtes, chambres consulaires… Un outil technique au service des partenaires : UrbaLyon apporte son appui technique dans une logique d’approfondissement de la connaissance territoriale et de compréhension des dynamiques à l’œuvre. Les études menées sont ainsi au cœur du monitoring des territoires et des politiques publiques et constituent des apports précieux dans la préparation de la décision. UrbaLyon explore de nouveaux champs en lien avec les enjeux de transition énergétique, territoriale, économique et sociétale et questionne les modèles de développement à l’œuvre. Elle exporte ses savoir-faire à l’international, principalement dans le cadre des coopérations décentralisées de ses membres. Une culture du dialogue et une volonté de partager la connaissance : UrbaLyon diffuse ses travaux à ses membres et partenaires, aux professionnels de l’urbanisme et de l’aménagement du territoire, au monde universitaire et de la recherche, avec qui elle s’attache à développer des collaborations. Elle organise des temps forts qui sont autant d’occasions de susciter des interactions, de confronter des points de vue, participant ainsi à la construction de visions partagées.

UrbaMonde operates in Switzerland and in France, by offering technical support to public actors in participative urban development projects, as well as to groups of inhabitants implementing collaborative housing solutions, while promoting innovation in non-speculative land management and access to affordable housing finance. The association also supports groups of vulnerable inhabitants in the implementation of community-led housing and neighborhood improvement projects. // Local actor UrbaMonde supports the development of housing cooperatives and collaborative housing in Switzerland and France through technical assistance to residents' groups and local communities. Moreover, urbaMonde works for the implementation of an institutional, financial and legislative framework favorable to the development of this type of habitat, which is more sustainable, inclusive and non-speculative. // Actor in international cooperation At the international level, urbaMonde supports innovative and sustainable projects led by vulnerable populations and their federations, networks or umbrella organizations. // Actor of capitalization, networking and advocacy UrbaMonde manages the CoHabitat Network, which aims to promote existing collaborative housing solutions through capitalization, exchange and capacitation between peers, and the promotion of a collaborative housing award.

From Touring some of the biggest underground Hip Hop artists in the early 2000's to running successful club nights starting in 2004 and diversifying the business further in 2008, Urban Agent is known to be one of Australias most successful music event promoters. In 2008, Urban Agent started investing into major event concerts and from 2010 and 2012 Urban Agent was one of the main investors into Supafest and the driving force in marketing for the biggest Urban Music Festival in Australia. Supafest saw artists such as: Snoop Dogg Chris Brown Pitbull Kelly Rowland Akon Neyo Sean Paul Jay Sean and many of the worlds biggest Pop/Urban Artists. In May 2012, Urban Agent chose a new path and started a touring division with its first tour being a niche artist - Grammy Nominee Musiq Soulchild (Sept 2012). This was followed by a tour with US pop Artist Jay Sean (Oct 2012). January 2013, one of the worlds biggest artists - Mariah Carey with sold out shows in Sydney and 15,000+ in Melbourne. March 2013 saw the successful tour with the world biggest family in music The Jacksons. October 2013: Shah Rukh Khan and Temptations Reloaded Tour featuring a cast and crew of almost 135 with successful shows in Sydney, Auckland, Perth. Presently (and since 2013), Urban Agent is the event producer/promoter of Sydneys biggest Friday night social targeting the Asian clients with a weekly attendance of 1500+. The event is held at The Star Casinos'​ premier club The Marquee. Urban Agent is also the event producer/promoter on Saturday night at Hilton Hotels Zeta Bar which has been running for almost 3 years. Urban Agent is also a partner in upcoming music Festival - Sensation White which is expecting over 40,000 on Sat 25 Nov 2017 at Spotless Stadium
