Vi bygger et nyt bykvarter, der giver mere København til København: Carlsberg Byen. En helt ny bydel i smørhullet mellem det rolige Frederiksberg, hippe Vesterbro og skønne Valby, der bygges på det område, der engang husede Jacobsen-familiens bryggerier. Et område der indtil 2008 var lukket for offentligheden, men som er åbnet op og kan nydes og bruges af os alle med egne butikker, nul bil-os, grønne parker, pladser, kulturliv og S-togstation. Vi bygger nye, moderne lejligheder, rækkehuse, erhvervslejemål, skoler og kulturinstitutioner side om side med de gamle, fredede bygninger fra bryggeritiden, som vi både værner om, transformerer og lader os inspirere af i den nye arkitektur. Når Carlsberg Byen i 2024 står færdigt, danner bydelen bl.a. rammen om 3.100 boliger i forskellige størrelser - og allerede nu er der liv i Carlsberg Byen: De første beboere er flyttet ind, mere end 10.000 studerende har deres daglige gang ved Tapperitorvet, et bredt udvalg af caféer, restauranter og butikker og et altid igangværende og pulserende kulturliv spirer i dag. Carlsberg Byen vil være fordelt på 50 % boliger, 35 % butikker og erhverv og 15 % kultur, idræt og institutioner. Udviklingsselskabet Carlsberg Byen P/S er et selvstændigt selskab, der ejes af Carlsberg (25 %), PFA (30 %), Nordea Pension (22,5 %) og PenSam (22,5 %).

UECA nació en 1908, por iniciativa de un grupo de chóferes profesionales, que acordaron constituir una organización que los amparase. Su principal problema era la convivencia con los coches de caballos y los innumerables incidentes que tenían lugar en la vía pública que, además, aún no disponía de señalización para los vehículos y en la que cada cual circulaba como podía. Aquellos pioneros debían desarrollar su actividad en tres áreas diferentes que, sin embargo, están estrechamente relacionadas entre sí: la personal, la laboral y la familiar. La organización inició su actividad creando las secciones de Asistencia Sanitaria, esencial en un momento de la historia en que no existía Seguridad Social; el ramo de Defensa Jurídica, actual paraguas de la oferta de UECA que, en el momento de su fundación, era una necesidad para los primeros profesionales del automóvil y, por último, el ramo de Subsidios de Enfermedad. Posteriormente, UECA ha diseñado nuevos ramos y ha ampliado el abanico de su oferta. UECA mantiene su esencia como organización centrada en la defensa del conductor. Cerca del 90% de sus socios son conductores profesionales y la empresa tiene cobertura en gran número de Comunidades Autónomas.
