The name of the character that influences a new design is passed on to the shoe. Ever since the first range the names of the individuals they meet and places they discover on the road are given to the shoe they’ve helped inspire. For close to a decade Urge has been producing footwear of the highest quality. Over the years they have connected with the finest material suppliers and footwear manufacturers in the world. C'est une association humanitaire et de sécurité civile à destination des populations sinistrées et des collectivités, touchées par une catastrophe naturelle. Pour répondre à un besoin vital : L'association Urgence-Telecom a été créé pour répondre à une demande importante des sinistrés au moment d'une situation d'urgence créée par une catastrophe naturelle ou un évènement majeur. Alors que les moyens de communication publiques sont hors d'usage, ou que l'accès à l'énergie est devenu impossible, nous intervenons au plus près des personnes touchées pour leur permettre de joindre leurs proches. Utiliser des moyens adaptables : Les réseaux sociaux sont devenus incontournables pour acheminer les messages en masse des populations sinistrés ou réduire les risques par la prévention. Nous intervenons avec les réseaux sociaux pour les pays industrialisés, mais avec des moyens adaptés pour les pays ou régions avec peu d'infrastructure. Il s'agit aussi de s'adapter aux situations complexes sur le terrain : Il peux s'agir simplement de fournir un point d'énergie pour recharger les téléphones portables, ou un "call center"​ pour permettre à tous de joindre un proche. Des volontaires engagés : Les volontaires ont de multiples compétences. C'est aussi leur engagement qui nous permet d'intervenir au plus vite et avec les moyens adaptés.

La Corporation d’urgences-santé est l’organisme responsable d’offrir des services préhospitaliers d’urgences à la population des régions de Montréal et Laval. Seule organisation publique au Québec, Urgences-santé traite entre 40 et 50% des appels d'urgence de la province, ce qui en fait la plus grande organisation de son secteur sur ce territoire. Les actions de l’organisation sont toutes orientées autour de sa mission qui est d’assurer à la population des services permettant de réduire la mortalité et la morbidité associées aux conditions médicales urgentes. Le tout se réalise sous deux volets : • un centre de communication santé qui traite quelques 375 000 appels d’urgence médicale par année; • des soins préhospitaliers d’urgence assurés par les techniciens ambulanciers paramédics. Les activités de la Corporation se déroulent à partir de trois sites : le centre opérationnel Nord qui est situé à Laval; les centres opérationnels Est et Ouest qui sont situés sur l'île de Montréal.
