VBK är ett konsulterande ingenjörsföretag inom byggbranschen. Vi är verksamma inom: - Byggprojektering innefattande byggnadskonstruktion, byggnadsteknik och byggnadsfysik. - Projektadministration bestående av projekt- och byggledning, entreprenadbesiktningar samt kontrollansvarig PBL och Bas P . - Underhåll vari ingår genomförande av underhålls- och konditionsbesiktningar samt skadeutredningar och upprättande av åtgärdsprogram. Som ett led i vår strävan att följa den snabba tekniska utvecklingen i vår bransch väljer vi i huvudsak våra nya medarbetare bland unga, nyexaminerade ingenjörer. Hos oss får de under sakkunnig och erfaren ledning applicera sina kunskaper på intressanta och kvalificerade projekt. Detta är en viktig del av en långsiktig plan för tillväxt och succession inom VBK. För våra kunder, som finns inom såväl privat näringsliv som offentlig förvaltning, har vi uppdrag inom områdena industri- och husbyggnad samt anläggning. Vår organisation kännetecknas av korta beslutsvägar och hög grad av decentralisering där det ställs stora krav på individens eget ansvarstagande. Huvudkontoret ligger i Göteborg och vi har ett lokalkontor i Skövde. På vårt Göteborgskontor har vi fyra projekteringsavdelningar, en projektadministrativ avdelning samt internadministration. På Skövdekontoret har vi en projekteringsavdelning. Idag består VBK Konsulterande ingenjörer AB av ett drygt hundra medarbetare av vilka nio är delägare i företaget. Dessa är: Jan-Eje Andersson, Jan Bergstrand, Erik Beets, Ulf Kjellberg, Ola Kjellman (vd), Peter Norrby, Lukas Jacobsson, Jon Örn och Anna Hallberg.
