Val Verde Regional Medical Center, (VVRMC), has been part of the history of Val Verde County for nearly six decades. Val Verde Memorial Hospital, as it was named at the time, first opened its doors in 1959. It originally had fewer than 30 beds. From the time of its opening, VVRMC has undergone three major renovations and expansions in 1969, 1985 and 2002. In 1996, Val Verde Memorial Hospital was renamed Val Verde Regional Medical Center. VVRMC celebrated 60 years of service in May 2019. Throughout its many renovations, expansions in services, and continued advancements in knowledge and technology, VVRMC's commitment to serve the community has remained unchanged; there has always been a tradition of caring and of progressing along with medical advancements. It is the primary medical care provider in the area and is a leading healthcare provider among rural hospitals in the state. VVRMC is an integral part of the community and is a frequent participant at community events. Val’prim est une société familiale, née de la volonté et de l’esprit entrepreneurial de Fernand Manceau et de son épouse Christiane Manceau en 1977. D’une micro structure de négoce de fruits et légumes de la région saumuroise, Val’prim n’a cessé de croître en se spécialisant dans l’accompagnement des producteurs d’oignons et le conditionnement des condiments. Désormais Val’prim possède deux unités de fabrication. La station de Brion, siège historique de l’entreprise depuis plus de 30 ans, a été transformée en 2015 en unité de réception et de préparation des condiments (séchage, équeutage, nettoyage et calibrage). À cette même période, une nouvelle station a été installé et construite à Longué-Jumelles. Elle est à la fois le siège administratif et l’unité de conditionnement et d’expédition des produits finis. Un nouveau bâtiment, une nouvelle identité, une nouvelle marque, une nouvelle offre marché et une toute nouvelle signature : Produits de caractères. Une signature qui porte nos valeurs.
