A Vintage Investimentos iniciou suas atividades em 2014, fundada pelos sócios Ricardo de Paulo, Guilherme Amaral e Rodrigo Carvalho. Com extensa experiência no mercado financeiro, os três trabalharam juntos na tesouraria do Banco Garantia, depois Credit Suisse, fazendo gestão de ativos nacionais e internacionais. Os três sócios fundadores são gestores dos fundos e possuem investimentos nos mesmos veículos dos clientes. Em 2014, foi lançada a primeira estratégia, com o fundo multimercado Vintage Macro. Em 2017 teve início a estratégia de previdência Vintage Asset Allocation, em fevereiro de 2020 a estratégia de ações long only com o fundo Vintage Institucional FIA e em Julho de 2020 a estratégia internacional Vintage Phoenix Bonds, que investe primordialmente em Eurobonds de empresas brasileiras no exterior. A partir de julho de 2020, a área de gestão passou a ser dividida por estratégia. Nesse novo formato a estratégia Macro foi renomeada Alpha Macro e passou a ser gerida por Rodrigo Carvalho. Guilherme Amaral passou a ser responsável pela área de Ações e Ricardo de Paulo pela estratégia de Bonds.
