Vulva Enterprise is founded by Scandinavian midwives and obstetricians. Our clinical work is to repair women nicely in vulva area after vaginal birth. We also teach students and fellow staff members new and evidence based suturering techniques. The medical simulators we have developed for training purposes are now for sale through Vulva Enterprise. The company works non-for-profit and we reinvest all income in developing new and woman friendly simulators.

The VUmc School of Medical Sciences was the VU University's Faculty of Medicine within the context of the VU Medical Centre before the fusion of the VUmc and AMC. The hospital branch of the faculty now falls under the Amsterdam UMC, and VUmc School of Medical Sciences is no longer its operational name. This page still exists to cater to alumni that have started a bachelor or master's programme, or researchers that have collaborated with the faculty, before the fusion was complete.
