Wor-Wic is a comprehensive community college that enhances local economic growth by addressing the educational, training and workforce development requirements of the residents of Worcester, Wicomico and Somerset counties. The college serves the unique needs of a diverse student body through its educational offerings and comprehensive support services designed to facilitate student goal completion. The college provides affordable, high quality instruction for postsecondary credit programs and continuing education in a technology-driven environment. Wor.my is an innovative, compact, modular fishing rod, designed by Hungarian designer, Szabolcs Nemeth. Wor.my won the Hungarian Design Award in 2018. After a successful crowd-funded project on Indiegogo, Wor.my is already in able hands in over 40 countries. Boasting a removable trigger, this light-weight, unbreakable, durable and portable Swiss army knife of fishing rods is made to last. Wor.my has a stainless steel spring pole, CNC machined sea water-resistant 6061 T6 aluminium reel seat and hardwood handle. You can equip it with all the existing reel types. The flexible spiral design enhances the movement of the angler like a catapult. Another strength of the design is its simple variability: the intelligent assembly solutions enable users to replace the handle, the reel and the stem quickly. Imagine being able to travel anywhere in the world with your fishing rod, and not having to worry about damaging or breaking it. Wor.my weighs only 260g.

Worawa Aboriginal College is Victoria’s only registered Aboriginal School. An Aboriginal Community initiative, the College is governed by an Aboriginal Board and management. Worawa was established in 1983 in response to the difficulties Aboriginal students faced in the mainstream educational system. It provides a quality education for students in the secondary years of schooling, Years 7 – 12, for up to 70 Aboriginal girls from urban, regional and remote communities across Australia. Worawa is based on the philosophy of ‘walking together’. This involves the Learning and Teaching and Program addressing the Key Learning Areas of mainstream curriculum whilst taking into account Aboriginal culture, values, spiritual beliefs and learning styles. The Worawa ethos of ‘Walking Together’ is aimed at bringing together Aboriginal knowledge, values and pedagogy and quality academic staff with knowledge and understanding of Indigenous histories, cultures and communities, thus enriching the College program through shared wisdom and knowledge.
