A State of Texas regional employment office, Workforce Solututions North Texas serves employers and job seekers in 11 North Texas counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay Cottle, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger and Young. Texas Workforce Solutions comprises the Texas Workforce Commission, a statewide network of 28 Workforce Development Boards for regional planning and service delivery, their contracted service providers and community partners, and the TWC unemployment benefits Tele-Centers. This network gives customers local access to workforce solutions and statewide services at numerous Workforce Solutions offices and six tele-centers. Texas Workforce Solutions provide workforce development services that help workers find and keep good jobs, and help employers hire the skilled workers they need to grow their businesses. Our workforce partners include community colleges, adult basic education providers, local independent school districts, economic development groups, businesses and other state agencies. Collaboration and coordination among all partners play a critical role in the success of the Texas workforce system. Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas provides comprehensive workforce development services to businesses and residents of the 19-county West Central Texas region. We assist employers in addressing workforce challenges and area residents in developing skills for the jobs of today and tomorrow. We do this through a broad range of services that includes business solutions assistance, job training, workforce education, child care, and educational initiatives for adults and youth. Because we are indirectly supported through state and federal tax dollars, we invest those dollars in our region to provide services at no cost to you. Workforce Solutions is locally operated and governed, but we are part of the statewide Texas Workforce Solutions network, which is a part of the Texas Workforce Commission. As a network partner, we support Work In Texas, the largest job-matching database in Texas. We operate 4 workforce centers located in Abilene, Brownwood, Sweetwater, and Snyder to help residents get a job, keep a job, or get a better job by offering job matching, career counseling, and financial aid services. By partnering with economic development, business, education, civic organizations, and community leaders we are able to create strategies and solutions that promote economic vitality for the region. A proud partner of the American Job Center Network. We are a nonprofit organization and provide comprehensive staffing and workforce solutions designed to meet the needs of our employers and their workforce needs across the 15-county region we serve. One of 28 Workforce Development Boards in Texas; funded by the U.S. Dept. of Labor and passed-through the Texas Workforce Commission. The Workforce Solutions South Plains Board is comprised of South Plains Employers (51% or more) and representatives of community based organizations, educational entities (secondary, post-secondary), and labor & veterans of war. It is our goal to create employer-driven employment and training strategies to increase the work skills of South Plains workers - ensuring all training priorities are aligned with regional demand. We also oversee provisions of all employment and training services. The Board is committed to the community and building partnerships with local economic development organizations. Educational, legislative and business leaders to assist employers in remaining competitive in a global economy. Workforce Solutions South Plains is member of the Texas Workforce Solutions Network and the Texas Association of Workforce Boards. The Administration staff works with the Board of Directors, Chief Elected Officials (15-County Judges from each South Plains Region county) and the City of Lubbock Mayor to adminster approx. $13 million annual budget. Washington’s Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board (Workforce Board) is a Governor-appointed partnership of labor, business and government that is dedicated to helping Washington residents obtain and succeed in family-wage jobs, while meeting employers’ needs for skilled workers. The Workforce Board acts as: -An advocate on all issues and programs related to workforce development, which includes 16 education and training programs. -An independent third party evaluator of the state’s workforce system. -The lead policy advisor over the state’s workforce development system and federally funded Career and Technical Education. -A regulator of private career school programs and veterans education programs.

Workforce Training Centre WA (WTCWA) is a registered training organisaton (RTO) and is approved to deliver training and assessment services for accredited and non-accredited courses. WTCWA has three qualifications (plus skill sets) and 15 operational courses (including high risk work licenses) on scope. Learning and assessment pathways include; Structured learning and assessment (face-to-face training), flexible delivery (self-paced learning and assessment) and recognition of prior learning (RPL). Learning and assessment has been contextualised for construction, mining and transport industries. Our facilitators are the best from the crop, they are knowledgeable, qualified, have years of experience in their chosen industry and are familiar with best practice methods to deliver training. WTCWA stands by quality training, courses will not be delivered using the same traditional methods and facilitators are forced to think outside the box. Training relates to real life situations, uses full scale tools and equipment, incorporates practical activities, group discussions, role plays and minimal use of PowerPoint.
