The World Vegetable Center (WorldVeg) is an international non-profit research and development institute with a unique mandate in vegetables. Founded in 1971 as the Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center (AVRDC), WorldVeg has an established presence and extensive network of partners in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, allowing us to maintain a global perspective while grounding our efforts in local contexts.
