The mission of the Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is to advance the health and well-being of society through the preparation of highly skilled health care practitioners and, through research, to discover, evaluate, and implement improved models of practice and treatments in health care sciences and pharmacy.

The Wayne Township public school district consists of two high schools (Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills), three middle schools (Schuyler Colfax, George Washington, and Anthony Wayne), and nine elementary schools (Theunis Dey, Ryerson, Randall Carter, Pines Lake, Packanack, Lafayette, John F. Kennedy, James Fallon, and AP Terhune) and an Early Childhood Center at Preakness. These 15 schools serve more than 8,500 students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

Wayne Wings is a volunteer run travel soccer club based in Ontario, NY that provides competitive travel soccer opportunities for youth players aged 8 to 19.
