WDI designs, engineers and manufactures innovative microscopy automation and imaging solutions. Solutions include OEM components as well as complete optomechanical and optoelectronic sub-systems. Our products range from compact autofocus sensors and automated microscopy modules to end user IR imaging systems. WDI’s technology helps individuals and companies in a wide variety of industries including Life Science, Biomedical Imaging, Machine Vision and Electronics/Semiconductor Manufacturing.

The WDMH Foundation was formed in December of 1993 to help finance the capital needs of the hospital. In the past, the Foundations has successfully raised funds for a new ophthalmology clinic; a variety of new operating room equipment; a seven-station state-of-the-art hemodialysis unit; and $15 million for a $59 million expansion and redevelopment project. The Winchester District Memorial Hospital is a full-service community hospital in the Township of North Dundas, serving a catchment area of about 75 km with a population of approximately 90,000 since 1948. The Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) funds the hospital’s operating budget from provincial funds. However replacement or purchase of diagnostic and other medical equipment and some program costs must come from other sources. We are extremely grateful to our friends who support our projects with gifts of cash, securities and bequests as well as gifts-in-kind, services and many volunteer hours!

Warp Drive Machine Learning (WDML) Srl is a tech startup that was born out of the encounter between tech and business professionals with the aim of developing innovative products to support the decision-making process in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects. Nowadays ML and AI are critical to the success of most business. Nevertheless, most of the ML and AI projects are long and complex, do not deliver the expected outcome, and in many cases do not even pass the Proof of Concept phase. Experience taught us that this is mainly due to the lack of quantitative indicators that allow to take more informed project decisions and we founded WDML Srl around this evidence. Our mission is help our customers to take more informed decisions in ML and AI projects. 🚀

Over recent years, World Design & Trade has grown from strength to strength in its three brands: Firetrap, Fullcircle and SC51. Firetrap currently operates 9 stores: London, Liverpool, Leeds, Belfast, Edinburgh, Meadowhall & Nottingham. (Westfield opening shortly). Full Circle currently operates 1 store in London. In addition there are approximately 16 concessions in both House of Fraser and Selfridges stores. There are ambitious plans for retail to develop further both in the UK and internationally over the next few years.
