Western Valve

oil & energy

Established in 1991, Western Valve started out as a leading remanufacturer of pipeline thru-conduit valves. Each valve is completely refurbished to same as new condition and tested to American Petroleum Institute (API) 6D standards. Laws on pipeline integrity and attention to infrastructure have led to increased pipeline maintenance and replacement of obsolete equipment. Offering reconditioned valves, as well as repairing valves, allows Western Valve to recycle and reuse equipment, which is environmentally friendly and cost efficient to our customers. In 2000, Western Valve began manufacturing the DAN-EX Double Block and Bleed Plug Valve. The engineered product line, acquired from Daniel Valve, was introduced into the industrial valve market in 1978. Western Valve manufactures the original valve design and aftermarket parts at its facility in Bakersfield, California. The facility incorporates modern computerized manufacturing cells and utilizes the latest manufacturing practices to ensure the highest quality positive sealing valve in the industry. DAN-EX Valves are used in critical service where zero leakage and seal verification are required. Typical applications include multi-product pipelines, metering skids, tank storage, equipment isolation, distribution terminals, commercial aviation and USA Military fueling facilities.
