We are Westmoreland County’s Community Action Agency, serving low-income individuals and families since 1980. Community Action Agencies provide services and assistance towards the elimination of poverty through developing employment opportunities, improving human performance and productivity or bettering the conditions under which people live, learn and work. Community Action Agencies help people to help themselves in achieving self-sufficiency.

The Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce represents roughly 1,000 businesses across Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. As a 501c6 organization, our members include both large and small firms from retailers and manufacturers to government agencies to professional service providers. Tracing its roots back to the early 1940s, the Westmoreland County Chamber has been instrumental in building strong partnerships among regional business leaders, community leaders, elected officials and key stakeholders on a variety of important issues facing our community. The Westmoreland County Chamber enjoys a heralded reputation as the largest, most active, and influential chamber of commerce in Westmoreland County and as one of the most vital chambers in all of Southwestern Pennsylvania. The organization maintains a robust business-friendly advocacy platform and provides members with a variety of networking events, group purchasing opportunities, and professional development seminars throughout the year. Vision: The Westmoreland County Chamber will be recognized by the business community as the leading resource in our region for education, networking and advocacy. The Chamber will maximize the value proposition to our membership thus becoming the chamber of choice. Enrollment: Approximately 5,500 full- and part-time students. Programs: More than 100 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs with options that prepare students for careers or transfer to baccalaureate degree programs at four-year institutions. Degrees Granted: Associate in arts degree, associate in applied science degree, diploma and certificate. Mission: Westmoreland County Community College improves the quality of life in the communities we serve through education, training and cultural enrichment.
