WhidbeyHealth Medical Center and clinics are operated by the Whidbey Island Public District Hospital, which is dedicated to providing exceptional care with compassion and respect. WhidbeyHealth is committed to improving healthcare for the Whidbey Island community. WhidbeyHealth Medical Center is a not-for-profit, Medicare certified, Public District Hospital, incorporated under the laws of the State of Washington. Our main campus in Coupeville opened as Whidbey General Hospital in March 1970 and has since undergone four major expansions, including the construction of the 39-bed inpatient wing approved by voters in 2013. We have also expanded outpatient care, both at our main campus and at numerous locations around the island. In June 2016 the hospital was rechristened WhidbeyHealth Medical Center as we unified all services and locations under the WhidbeyHealth name.

Improving Waste Treatment and Minimization Sludge is an unavoidable waste product from many differing industries and the world today is producing mountains and lagoons of waste annually without proper equipment and resources for its safe and/or economical disposal. Dewatering and drying is a vital part of sludge treatment, which reduces transportation and disposal costs, while at the same time limiting adverse effects on the environment. The WhirlAway Drying (PAD) system is a unique, robust and far-reaching treatment technology for the waste management sector, which can cost-effectively dry materials from 70% initial moisture content down to 10%. PAD does not use high thermal temperatures, as in most commonly used drying processes. Other technologies, such as pre-heating or thermal oxidizing, dry the product for waste disposal purposes, whereas the PAD system not only dries the product more efficiently, using high velocity air, but also provides end product value. The moisture is not ‘cooked’ out, thus producing a superior and sellable by-product.

Whilton Mill - Northamptonshires Premier Karting & Activity Venue It has karting at its core since being founded back in 1991. It enjoys two circuits, the original 450m Mill circuit and a 1200m International circuit. The International, National and Indy Circuits are great for both intermediate and advanced drivers. We use the latest 390cc Sodi karts on one of the fastest circuits in the UK.
