professional training & coaching
Wild Sky Coaching is the business framework for Linnet's work as a coach. Here's what Linnet does: o listens deeply to conversations o coaches people around blocks or obstacles o helps creative women work wisely o energises creatives to speak on behalf of their work o works with artists to create a structure that supports their drive o mentors entrepreneurs towards confidence o coaches to the language, emotions and physical presence of each client. Linnet only takes on three clients at any time, so she can give each person complete attention. What people say about Linnet's coaching and their experience with Wild Sky. Linnet has a real gift for affirming her clients and instilling in them a sense of 'can do' and hope. I found Linnet's coaching to be a revelation, especially her ability to gently challenge my negative assumptions about myself. I found these assumptions to be not only wrong, but quite laughable! This letting-go gave me a more positive outlook toward my future. In fact after each session I felt empowered and motivated to take a new step.

Wild Things is an award winning environmental education charity working in Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Since 2003, Wild things! has enabled over 13,000 children, young people and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment and the remote wilderness regions of Scotland. We believe that conservation efforts are significantly more effective if people get to know their local natural environment through exciting, stimulating and hands on activities that provide the opportunity for them to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment whilst acquiring new skills, confidence and interests. Our programmes encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between individuals and their natural environment: we provide the opportunity for our participants to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment whilst at the same time acquiring new skills, confidence and interests. We work in partnership with a range of organisations providing extra support for young people considered ‘at risk’ or who are struggling within mainstream education as well as vulnerable adults. Whilst based in Scotland, Wild things! delivers programmes and activities across the UK.

Wild Training started in 2010 out of a demand for more effective, better value exercise. In 2013 around 12.8% of the UK population have a gym membership, and of these members less than 10% get the results they really want. This means the fitness industry is helping around 1% of the population achieve their goals. You can only describe this as failing badly. Gyms have evolved out of trends like body building and aerobics classes from the 70's and 80''s. These trends directly effected how gyms are fitted out. Heavy lifting machines, free weights, cardio machines and aerobic studios. James Griffiths, founder of Wild Training, decided that the training he was able to do in gyms wasn't the best training for his clients. For this reason he started training people outside, where he had the space to get them moving properly and the equipment to challenge every component of fitness. The results have been outstanding ever since and through continuous innovation the Wild Training team are developing new training systems to get more people the results they want. - See more at: http://wildtraining.co.uk
