Founded in 1748, Wilmington Friends is co-ed serving students in preschool through 12th grade. Signature programs include IB, the Malone Schools Online Network, School Year Abroad, and a nationally recognized 1:1 student laptop program. Friends offers Singapore Math; Spanish in grades PK-12 and Chinese and French in grades 6-12; competitive athletics, grades 7-12; visual and performing arts; programming, STEM curriculum, and robotics, K-12; individualized, expert college guidance; and a leading financial aid program.

Wilmington Instrument Company is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited calibration laboratory and full-service distributor of process and test instrumentation. We are a stable privately-owned corporation that has been in operation since 1944, and at our present location since 1950. We service a broad range of industries including petrochemical, power generation, water and wastewater management, aerospace, shipbuilding and maritime, pharmaceutical, food processing, and construction.

Wilmington Renaissance Corporation was founded in 1993 to implement major downtown improvements in Wilmington, Delaware that would enhance the city's economic well-being and strengthen its civic fabric. WRC serves as the Wilmington's economic development partner, linking state and regional governments and city corporations and businesses. Since its creation, WRC has become a major creator and convener of large-scale downtown projects, working for the betterment of Wilmington and its residents. Founded in 1968, Wilmington University is a fully accredited, non-profit institution offering over more than 120 career-oriented undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide array of academic fields. Wilmington University is committed to providing convenient and affordable higher education options. Wilmington University has 14 locations in Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland and all students pay the same low, in-state tuition no matter where they reside.
