The Wing Kei Care Centre is a non-profit long term care centre specializing in culturally appropriate care for seniors in Calgary, Alberta. Over one-hundred seniors are calling Wing Kei their home, where they receive culturally appropriate nursing care that meet their physical, social, spiritual, and emotional needs in a Christian environment. It is fully integrated with the Alberta Health Services' long-term care plan, and has free up care beds in the mainstream care centres for use by other seniors in the broader Calgary Community. The Compulsory Acquisition of the Bank’s share by China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd was completed on 15 January 2009. The Bank became a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of the China Merchants Bank Group. In order to expand its branch network, the Bank established its Des Vouex Road West Branch, China Hong Kong City flagship Branch and Mei Foo Sun Chuen Branch in April, August and September 2009 respectively.
