The Women’s Health Research Institute is devoted to improving the health and health care of girls and women through knowledge generation, serving as a catalyst for research in women’s health and supporting an expanding provincial and national network of women’s health researchers, policy makers and healthcare providers. We are a leading academic women’s and newborn health research centre embedded within BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, and support research activities designed to improve the health and health care of women and their families throughout British Columbia and globally. Our goal is to discover new knowledge to improve the health of girls and women, by communicating research discoveries and success to researchers, stakeholders, and the public.

Women’s Health West (WHW) is a local non-profit committed to improving equity and justice for women in Melbourne's west. We deliver family violence response and health promotion services. Our health promotion, research and development program plans and implements activities designed to promote women’s health, safety and wellbeing across three key areas – sexual and reproductive health, mental health, and prevention of violence and discrimination. Our family violence service provides women and children with the range of services they require while in crisis – such as court support, crisis housing and case management – through to services designed to promote healing and recovery, such as women’s and children’s counselling. We work collaboratively with communities, government and local agencies, and provide secondary consultation for health, community and other service providers.

The Women’s Information Network (WIN) is an online educational and social network and an on land global community of women in many countries. The WIN mission is to strengthen women and families worldwide through celebration, self-improvement, and service. WIN is at the forefront of the present global women’s movement. WIN provides women worldwide with online and on land education and empowerment in their personal lives and in their businesses. WIN invites all women of all ages, all cultures, and all religions to join the WIN today. The WIN Thought Leaders offers content-rich programs that strengthen women personally and in their businesses, new every 2 weeks.

The Womens Institute is a national award-winning affordable housing development organization, which offers a core mission to promote economic opportunity and build strong communities by developing safe, affordable and supportive housing for individuals and families. Our strategic focus is to bring the strength of our organization in offering collaborative development approaches that work within and for communities, and create and sustain partnerships that address the housing needs of local residents, neighborhoods, and towns, creating a collective community impact that reaches far beyond the creation of the housing units. We achieve our mission by: - Developing affordable and supportive housing by bringing our development expertise and project management capacity to communities across Southern New England while working in partnership with local organizations to create and/or preserve quality, affordable housing. - Promoting economic opportunity by building housing that is affordable, decreasing the too often disproportionate amount of income that many individuals and families currently budget for their housing. Our projects consistently prioritize housing for very low-income households. - Building strong communities by creating enduring partnerships that provide support to residents, neighborhoods, and communities. By partnering with community groups, local leaders and service providers, the Womens Institute creates affordable housing that enhances the quality of life for the residents, increasing their ability to be successful in housing and move toward economic independence.
