Youth First was formed in September 2016 from Lewisham Council's Youth Service. It is the first employee and youth owned mutual in the UK. It was created to grow and sustain youth and play work in Lewisham and perhaps in the future beyond the borough.

The Youth For Christ Foundation supports the growth and sustainability of YFC entities across the US and around the world. Services include asset management, non-cash gift processing, donor advised funds, and grants to YFC entities. More information is available at www.foundation.yfc.net

Youth for Christ brengt jongeren in ontmoeting met Jezus Christus en helpt hen op weg om naar Zijn bedoelingen te leven. Duizenden vrijwilligers en circa 130 medewerkers dragen hieraan bij. We zijn een missionaire organisatie, met zowel evangeliserende als sociaal-maatschappelijke activiteiten. Evangeliserende activiteiten zijn bijvoorbeeld tienerclubs in kerken en beginnerscursussen rond het christelijk geloof. We helpen jongeren in hun zoektocht naar God. En we helpen ze Jezus te betrekken bij hun dagelijks leven. Sociaal-maatschappelijke werk is bijvoorbeeld een jongereninloop van YfC|The Mall. Of coaching van jongeren die dreigen van school los te raken. We stimuleren jongeren om hun talenten te ontdekken en bij te dragen aan onze samenleving. We richten ons op jongeren van 10 tot 23 jaar en zijn actief op straat, in kerken en op scholen. Youth for Christ heeft een uitgesproken werkwijze: we werken relationeel, behoeftegericht en holistisch. Youth for Christ wil de komende jaren veel meer werken vanuit lokale initiatieven van vrijwilligers. We dromen ervan dat duizenden vrijwilligers in Nederland zich inzetten voor jongeren in hun eigen omgeving.
