The Institute of Applied Simulation (IAS) is part of ZHAW LSFM, School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, a competence center for nutrition, health, society and the environment. Problems in the topics environment, food, health and society are increasingly complex and require new methods to investigate them and make decisions. We analyze challenging problems and develop workable solutions using modeling and simulation. Our work is always of practical benefit to our business partners and has direct translation into practical applications. Our primary area of work is the analysis of complex systems by modeling them. The models are of a statistical / mathematical nature or are brought to life in computer simulations. These solutions are communicated and visualized using modern technology. An important component of a solution is always the user-friendly communication to the project partners and clients. Das IPP (Institute of Product Development and Production Technologies) erforscht und vermittelt Wissen zur Entwicklung von zukunftsfähigen Lösungen in der Produktionstechnik. Wir setzen uns für die Transformation von einer linearen zu einer kreislauffähigen Wirtschaft ein und bieten Expertise, Erfahrung und Infrastruktur in verschiedenen Bereichen wie Circular Economy Design, Produktentwicklung, Digitalisierung von Maschinen und Additive Fertigung.

Die ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) ist mit rund 9000 Studierenden in Aus- und Weiterbildung eine der grössten Business Schools der Schweiz. Crossing Borders.» With about 9,000 students domestically and abroad, the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) is one of Switzerland’s largest business schools. We are also the only university of applied sciences in the country to be included in the prestigious rankings of the "Financial Times" business newspaper and fulfil the high standards of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Our university is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. ZHealth provides medical coding & consulting services, with special emphasis on some of your toughest areas of medical coding: interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, and percutaneous endovascular procedures. To assist the facility in ensuring appropriate reimbursement and compliance with coding rules, ZHealth provides post-payment audits, outsourced coding, structured and customized educational programs, and on-site consultancy arrangements to re-engineer the coding and billing process for these procedures to build “best practice” capabilities within organizations that provide these specialty procedures.
