Who we are: Belstra Milling is a family-owned regional independent feed manufacturing company located in the northwest Indiana town of Demotte. Albert "Bud" Belstra established the company in 1954. What we do: Our main business is manufacturing feed for livestock; mostly swine and dairy. During the 1990's, a relationship with Pig Improvement Company (PIC), a swine genetics company, grew such that today, we think of ourselves as a "supplier of genetics". Not only do we represent PIC but we work with producers to help them maximize their operations through knowledge gained on the farms we manage.
